The Bears originally started out with French musicians Eric Surmenian and Manhu Roche in Paris, releasing “Live in France” in 2014. The album is typical Bearzatti: immediate and pulsating, intense and dynamically engaging, with ample space for sax or clarinet solos, but always with a clear narrative structure. This time round Bearzatti is joined by two other talents from his hometown - Turchet and Colussi - to form an even closer-knit Trio.
