They met las summer in Italy during the Umbria Jazz Festival ,where they shared the stage, Guidi playing with the Enrico Rava - Tomasz Stanko Quintet, Bosso presenting his project dedicated to Dizzy Gillespie , “The Champ”. They want to bring their music together, pursuing an idea that could push themselves further and beyond their personal research. They called three young incredibly talented musicians from New York to join them in this new project. Aaron Burnett, tenor sax, who is growing fast in the New York scene (Wynton Marsalis, Esperanza Spaulding, Kurt Rosenwinkel), Dezron Douglas , a very reliable and propulsive bass player (Ravi Coltrane, Louis Hayes, Cyrus Chestnut) and Joe Dyson , one of the most valued drummer to-day.
